On Line Krav Maga Courses
For those of you that do not have the time to go to professional training classes which is our recommended option or if you cannot find a certified Krav Maga instructor in your immediate area, the following is an excellent Krav Maga course available online.
As you have seen in the news lately, violence is everywhere – on the street, in the park, in the stores and malls, places of entertainment, in places or worship, and in the classroom. You need to know how to defend yourself and your loved ones against it, in all its forms — street violence, rape, bullying, and others.
While we highly recommend person to person training, we found, through the many inquiries we receive daily looking for a Krav Maga training, that many cities do not have certified Krav Maga trainers nor classes.
In an attempt to help those out in cities that have no certified Krav Maga instructors, I have researched and found a couple of programs that may be of assistance to you for home study.
You may want to consider the following:
1. Survival Combat Fitness
2. Mastering Krav Maga 8 DVD Set — Self-Defense (Beginner to Advanced)
In Mastering Krav Maga (Vol. I), Israeli Krav Maga Association U.S. Chief Instructor David Kahn teaches essential techniques to defend against all manners of unarmed attack from the yellow, orange, and green belt levels of the Israeli krav maga curriculum (beginner to advanced). The DVDs are companions to David’s two books (St. Martins Press), Krav Maga and Advanced Krav Maga.
Many of these latest-evolution techniques have not seen outside of Israel; the most up-to-date, authoritative and comprehensive unarmed krav maga instruction available.
David Kahn received his advanced black belt teaching certifications from Grandmaster Haim Gidon, 10th dan. David trains the public, celebrities and federal, state and municipal law enforcement agencies along with the U.S. and British militaries in the Israeli method.
David was featured by Special Operations Report, Military.com, Armed Forces Network, USMC Combat Camera, Men’s Fitness, Men’s GQ, Esquire, Men’s Vogue, New Yorker, Self, Traveler, N.Y. Post, L.A. Times, ACE Fitness and USA Today. David authored the books: Krav Maga (St. Martins 2004), Advanced Krav Maga (St. Martins 2008) and Krav Maga Weapon Defenses (YMAA 2012).
The U.S. military granted permission to include select training clips.
